A widely-known industry expert, Rick has developed creative strategies for MGI clients for 30+ years. As company president, he is responsible for the organization’s overall direction and guidance. He is a past recipient of the DMAW Award for Distinguished Achievement recognizing his lifetime contributions to direct marketing. A frequent presenter and speaker, Rick has also authored numerous articles on association marketing.
Raylene has exceptional hands-on management experience gained over a span of 30 years in the marketing and communications fields. As chief operating officer she is responsible for internal operations of the company. An expert in visual communications, corporate identity development, branding, and meetings marketing, she has served in numerous top level managerial and supervisory capacities throughout her career.
Tony is well known throughout the association community as a keen observer, original thinker, and strategy specialist. He has developed hundreds of membership marketing programs for dozens of organizations and oversees many of MGI’s largest and most complex programs. A prolific writer and articulate speaker, he authors a blog and frequently contributes to a variety of marketing publications. He has also served as a contributing author for two ASAE books on membership.
Tom is responsible for MGI’s robust information technology, data analytics, and data services. He has developed proprietary programs that track marketing campaign results through database matching. In addition, Tom has authored a number of client and project-specific merge/purge programs designed to optimize list value and specializes in managing custom ad hoc data analysis using recency, frequency, monetary and lifetime value data.
Todd is a highly skilled analyst of emerging technologies and their impacts on marketing techniques. A Certified Direct Marketing professional with a focus on digital marketing, he has over 15 years’ experience in developing and evaluating acquisition metrics, program profitability, usage patterns, and measuring return on investment. Todd oversees our digital marketing department based in Lake Mary, Florida.
Results-oriented and data-driven, Jana is a high-impact strategist who brings a proven record of success in guiding the member journey across a diverse portfolio of clients. Specializing in the strategic management and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for over 15 years, Jana has built a track record of success on both sides of the association/agency partnership. Focused on collaboration and relationship building, Jana has developed marketing programs for her clients that have generated over 100,000 new members and millions of dollars in dues and non-dues revenue.
A results-driven marketing and strategy expert, Elisa has a strong record of creating and building member, customer, and donor bases. Elisa brings her clients over 30 years of marketing, management, and consulting experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. During her 8 years with MGI, she has helped clients with memberships ranging from 7,000 to over 220,000 build successful, high-performance marketing programs to drive dues and non-dues revenue growth. Elisa serves on ASAE’s Membership Professionals Advisory Council and speaks worldwide about membership marketing best practices.
Harold knows what it takes to build successful membership programs. Highly skilled in both traditional and advanced digital marketing techniques, he has been a corporate executive in several Fortune 500 companies as well as having served as a senior marketing consultant for others. His extensive marketing experience and perceptive intuition, coupled with his broad knowledge, keen insight, and exceptional capacity to formulate and implement both tested and new marketing ideas have been instrumental in growing more than 25 association clients, including some of MGI’s largest and longest-running engagements.
Michelle has over 20 years of experience as a strategic marketing executive with an unstoppable drive for results. She gained much of her marketing experience with the world’s largest aviation association, where she oversaw membership, products and services, and convention marketing. Michelle has a unique understanding of membership challenges and readily shares her expertise to help other organizations exceed their membership and certification goals. Michelle has developed and executed multiple lead generation, acquisition, retention, and diversity campaigns since joining MGI.
Scott brings more than 30 years of experience in direct marketing and non-profit fundraising to his MGI clients. In that time, he has overseen and managed all aspects of multimillion-dollar direct marketing programs for a wide variety of organizations including national and international professional, humanitarian, social action, and environmental organizations. Skillfully integrating all facets of direct marketing, Scott designs programs that consistently deliver results.
Throughout his professional career, John has worked with associations to create marketing solutions that get results. Before coming to MGI, he owned a digital printing company. John’s focus is new business development and actively sources and works with prospective clients to find ways that MGI can assist in maximizing the ROI from their marketing budget. He is an excellent communicator who uses his people and business skills to match client marketing needs and goals with MGI’s many resources. He is also the host of MGI’s podcast: 15 Minutes to Impact.
An expert in print production and mail processing, Kimberly leads MGI’s day-to-day creative, printing, and mailing operations. She oversees a team of exceptionally talented designers who create all types of marketing, promotional, and conference materials, as well as leading the production managers who serve as coordinators between MGI’s account managers, designers, data services, and email marketing staff. She is the primary liaison with the company’s suppliers and vendors, and directs all print, personalization, and lettershop operations.
With over 20 years of research experience, Adina offers indispensable expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She has partnered with associations across a wide range of fields to provide insight in many areas, including determining value propositions and member needs, evaluating membership models and pricing, and uncovering perceptions and preferences. She has conducted research on a global scale, and is adept at translating research findings into actionable recommendations. Adina is the lead researcher for MGI’s Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report, and oversees all operations of the research department.
Brian has over 15 years of experience in direct mail data services and oversees the day-to-day operations of MGI’s Direct Data Services department. Brian and his team provide ongoing data and list hygiene support, and specialize in custom merge/purges with complementary member finders that help clients improve the efficacy of their campaigns and accurately measure response. Brian is a problem-solver and uses his expertise to find ways to manage, manipulate, and maximize data to achieve desired goals and ensure the highest quality results.
Christyl oversees MGI’s dedicated email marketing team, IntelliLead® programs, and special online projects. Drawing on over 10 years of experience with email and online programs, Christyl creates workable processes, quality assurance measurements, and program plans for a wide variety of online campaigns that generate millions of email sends every year for MGI clients. She and her team offer unmatched attention to detail while overseeing one-time, recurring, and custom email setups and online reporting for MGI’s clients.
As the head of the list department, Candy draws on more than 19 years of experience in the list business to serve MGI and our clients. As a list broker, she uses her extensive knowledge and customer service expertise to research, analyze, and recommend lists that enable clients to effectively and efficiently target the right audiences for their campaigns. As a list manager, she oversees and helps to shape, build, and maximize the power of more than one hundred rental lists on behalf of list owners who benefit from the revenue the lists generate through usage.
With over 19 years of experience in the field, Charity manages all telecommunications campaigns for MGI clients. She draws on her wide understanding of programs, response rates, and best practices to build effective campaigns that deliver outstanding results. Overseeing programs at every stage, from script development to final analysis, Charity works collaboratively with her clients to build lasting relationships and assist them in meeting their goals.
